NSERC CREATE Training Program for

Controlled Release Leaders (ContRoL)

For Trainees

We are actively recruiting trainees at the Master’s, Ph.D., and Post-Doctoral Fellow levels who are enthusiastic to work in an interdisciplinary research environment focused on developing innovative and practical controlled release technologies and for whom mobility, collaboration, and professional skills development are priorities.

We seek qualified candidates who share both our passion for controlled release as well as our commitment to equity and inclusion and will contribute to the diversification of ideas and perspectives within the program; in that light, we welcome applications from First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples, members of racialized communities (“visible minorities”), persons with disabilities, women, and persons who identify as 2SLGBTQ+.

There are two ways to apply:

Contact a ContRoL investigator directly ContRol investigators

Contact one of the ContRoL co-investigators directly and indicate your interest in participating in ContRoL.

Email us your information Email Program Coordinator

Send a letter of interest expressing why you would be a good fit for the program (both from a scientific perspective and based on your extracurricular and/or leadership experience and interests) and a current CV to the CREATE Program Coordinator. Applications will be circulated to the full investigator team for consideration for collaborative research projects.
